1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RouteLog.WiKi ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Purpose
RouteLog.WiKi is a community-driven tool for mail carriers to share and preserve route knowledge. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the United States Postal Service (USPS), any postal union, or any other official entity.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. One account per person. Creating multiple accounts or automated/scripted registrations is prohibited.
4. Content & Conduct
You retain ownership of content you contribute. By posting, you grant RouteLog.WiKi a non-exclusive license to display that content within the Service. You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or harmful information
- Vandalize, delete, or corrupt other users' contributions
- Share personally identifiable information about residents or customers
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or exploit the Service
5. Privacy
We collect the minimum information needed to operate: your username, email, and the route knowledge you choose to share. We do not sell your data. Your email may be used for account-related communications only.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Route information contributed by users may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Always verify information independently and follow official USPS procedures and guidelines.
7. Limitation of Liability
RouteLog.WiKi and its creators shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on route information posted by other users.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in destructive behavior, without prior notice.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
